The Uptime Institute Tier III lies on 2,000 square metres of highly available data centre space, geographically diverse from its London site. Built in 2016, the state-of-the-art data centre is in the heart of Birmingham, minutes away from Birmingham’s three train stations. The scalable data centre space has multiple levels of redundancy including Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS), backup diesel generators, state-of-the-art cooling systems, advanced fire protection and fantastic, industry-leading energy efficiency with a PUE of less than 1.3.
