Morocco e-Visa for Guyana Citizens
Citizens of Guyana **must obtain a visa before traveling to Morocco, as they are not visa-exempt and cannot enter Morocco without one. A Morocco e-Visa (electronic visa) is available only if Guyanese applicants meet specific eligibility conditions based on other travel documents rather than just nationality alone.
To qualify for the Morocco e-Visa, Guyanese citizens typically must hold either:
• A valid residence permit (valid for at least 180 days) issued by countries such as the Schengen Area, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Japan, or New Zealand, or
• A multiple-entry visa from one of those same countries (valid for at least 90 days at the time of application).
The online application is done through Morocco’s official e-Visa portal by submitting your Guyanese passport (with at least 6 months’ validity), a recent passport-style photo, and any required supporting documents. Once approved, the e-Visa is emailed and should be printed or saved digitally for presentation at Moroccan immigration. The e-Visa is usually valid for up to 180 days from the date of issue and allows a single stay of up to about 30 days per visit.
If you do not meet these eligibility conditions, you generally need to apply for a traditional Moroccan visa through a Moroccan embassy or consulate before traveling.
